Our practitioners

Atsue Morinaga's healing techniques integrate Shiatsu, Thai massage, cranio-sacral therapy, and Chinese acupuncture in a treatment that's tailored to your needs.

Experienced and highly qualified, Atsue is well respected in the therapeutic community for the integration of Shiatsu, Thai massage, cranio-sacral therapy, Chinese acupuncture and physiotherapy, which forms the basis of her practice.

Atsue’s roots are in Japan where she started massaging for her family from an early age. She then went on to qualify as a physiotherapist (NHD), working for six years specialising in orthopaedic problems such as sciatica, whiplash, joint disorders, disc problems, sport injuries and pain relief.

Her main interest has always been in treating pain and it is this that has led her to develop her unique integrated approach.

She came to Europe in 2000 and obtained a diploma in cranio-sacral therapy from the College of Cranio-Sacral Therapy, London and a BSc in acupuncture from the London College of Traditional Acupuncture.

She also has trained in holistic massage (ITEC) in London and Thai massage at the Wat Po traditional medical school in Bangkok, Thailand.

Atsue was a massage therapist for Japanese shooting athletes at the Athens Olympics in 2004 and has worked with jazz musicians at Ronnie Scott’s club in London.
